Developers were charging extra from the buyers who were interested in ready-to-move-in flats since these weren’t liable for GST.
After the GST announcement, developers only have one choice and that is to absorb the GST charges in ready-to-move properties without completion certificates (CC).
If they try to put this burden on their house buyers, their flats without CC would be at par with under-construction projects.
