If you are facing issues with your builder like I faced years ago and want to know what should be done in this case, let me tell you about how to deal with it with all the legal procedures. As per the RERA act and section 18, you have all the rights to cancel the booking and claim the refund of the entire amount along with interest from the builder in any case. And as per the section 19 of the RERA, you have the right to know the time wise schedule, completion date and time required to complete the project.

For a refund of money, you should register a complaint with the RERA Authority under Sections 18 and 31. You have enough proof to show that the developer cheated you and that he was unable to give you possession of the project. This proof is sufficient to request a refund of funds plus interest.
