Hey,

RERA only comes into the picture when the buyer and the builder of the residential unit are involved.

As far as I know, RERA does not distinguish between redevelopment and development projects. If the area is more than 500 square meters and more than eight dwelling units are built, then the RERA applicability is mandatory.

Plus, even in redevelopment projects, the developer will be acquiring and marketing some flats. This is why the applicability of RERA is inevitable.
