The COVID pandemic has greatly affected the landlords in the metro cities and other major towns. As many companies have either shut their companies or asked their employees to work from home, many people have vacated their rented houses. Now speaking about the demand for rented house post COVID, I feel it would be the same as that it was before the pandemic. In fact, I feel the demand might go a little lower as many companies are providing permanent work from home options. So people would work from their homes rather than renting out a place. Apart from this, the workation concept would also rise. People would want to stay somewhere peaceful while working remotely. So people would prefer renting a place in towns with lower rent and peaceful atmosphere.
