I believe by short-term let you mean renting or leasing a property for a short time. My uncle went USA to live with his son for 8 months so he planned to rent his house during this tenure. At least the property will be well-maintained. It can he helpful for both a tenant and a landlord. Just consider some aspects like:
- Make sure the agreement clearly speaks of the terms specially that the property will be rented for a short term
- The property must be verified and checked properly before letting anyone live there
- Both the parties must sign the agreement and furnish all required documents especially Identity proof
