Gratuity refers to an amount of money that is paid to an employee after a certain span of service. It is like a reward for the employee’s service towards the company. A person must have worked for at least 5 years to claim it and as far as I know, you have to withdraw the whole amount. Partial gratuity money withdrawn is not allowed. However it is best to have a discussion with your office and know it better.
