The direction of the roof will not matter at all if the location of the plot is Vastu compliant. Just make sure
The slant or slope of the roof is towards the north-east
The balcony roofs should be at lesser height than the roof of the main building
Do not have any openings towards the veranda
Wide openings should be towards the east
