Recently my neighbour wanted to sell their parking space. He asked me, can flat owner sell parking space? Selling your parking space depends on its ownership status and the rules of the housing society or complex.
Parking spaces in most residential complexes, as I already mentioned, are common areas under RERA and belong collectively to all flat owners. In short, separate sale of parking spaces is not permitted unless the property deed explicitly identifies them as garages. If you sell such a space, you may violate housing society rules.
