In his Last Year's message to the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for those in the middle class and it is known as the "Credit-Linked Subsidy Scheme for Middle Income Groups" (CLSS – MIG). The following process will help you to reduce your EMI.
1) The subsidy granted by this scheme is available to people with annual incomes ranging from 6 lakhs to 18 lakhs.
2) People with an annual salary of 12 lakhs and house debts of up to 9 lakhs are eligible for a 4% EMI reduction. Those with an annual income of up to 18 lakhs and house loans of up to 12 lakhs can get a 3% interest rate reduction.
3) The interest subsidy in this scheme is available to any housing loan approved or in the permitting process after January 1, 2017.
