My father has rented out his flat in Bangalore, and recently he asked the tenant if he could visit the property for a routine inspection. But he straight-up refused, saying my father has no right to enter without his permission. To help my father, I asked my friend, a lawyer, can a tenant refuse landlord entry. He said if notice is given and the reason for access is valid, tenants cannot deny a landlord entry.
