. Now, I asked him again about why this was the best time of day to paint house interior and exterior. Here is what he told me

• He said as the day progresses, the temperature slowly rises. This results in better and faster drying. 

• He also mentioned that if the painting is carried out earlier in the day, then the smell of new paint slowly dissipates. 

• According to him, if the painting is carried out in the later part of the day, then there is a chance of the paint dampening. He explained that this happens due to the fall in temperature during the evening.

Paints take a lot of time to dry completely, especially when a large surface gets painted. Thus it is better to start painting a house when the weather is dry and there is no sign of rain. The best season to paint is winter and the worst season is the rainy season.
