Apple expanded its retail footprint in India on Friday by opening its first store in Noida at the DLF Mall of India. The company marked this launch with a long-term lease agreement and a premium ground-floor location that highlights its confidence in the region’s rising consumer base.
A Compact Store With a Premium Lease
The Noida outlet covers around 840 sq. ft. of retail space. Apple has signed an 11-year lease for the store, with a total rental value of ₹65 crore over the first ten years, according to sub-lease documents reviewed by CRE Matrix.
The company has taken six adjoining units on the mall’s ground floor. The monthly rental rate stands at ₹263.15 per sq. ft., placing the store among the premium retail spaces in the property.
Apple’s Fifth Store in India
The Noida launch marks Apple’s fifth official retail store in India and its second outlet in the Delhi-NCR region. Apple entered the country’s physical retail market only in 2023, starting with Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi.
The brand expanded steadily afterward. It opened Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, followed by the Apple Kharadi outlet in Pune in September 2025. The Noida store builds on this momentum and strengthens the company’s direct-to-consumer presence in north India.
A Strategic Spot With High Footfall
The store’s ground-floor placement in DLF Mall of India ensures a strong mix of visibility, premium branding, and consistent customer traffic. The mall attracts shoppers from across NCR, giving Apple a strong launch base.
Retail experts say the choice of location reflects Apple’s confidence in Noida’s fast-growing tech-savvy population. The area has seen rising demand for premium electronics and lifestyle brands over the past few years.
Executives familiar with the deal say the store benefits from a wide catchment that covers:
Noida and Greater Noida
Ghaziabad
South Delhi
Agra and Mathura
Several fast-developing towns along the Yamuna Expressway
This spread positions the outlet as a regional hub, not just a city-specific presence.
A Push to Strengthen the Delhi-NCR Market
Apple now operates two stores in the Delhi-NCR region. Its first, located in Saket, has recorded strong footfall and high customer engagement since its opening. The company believes the Noida store will complement the Saket outlet by catering to customers in east Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
Industry analysts say Apple’s expansion strategy in north India signals confidence in the region’s premium retail growth. The company has steadily increased supply, local manufacturing, and service availability, creating a well-rounded ecosystem for its users.
A Store Designed for More Than Shopping
Like its other stores, the Noida outlet will host Today at Apple sessions, product demos, and personalised setup assistance. Apple aims to create an experience-driven space that goes beyond simple product display.
Customers can explore the full range of iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, Watches, accessories, and Apple services. The store also brings the signature Apple architectural style — clean lines, open interiors, and an inviting layout.
A Major Step in India’s Retail Evolution
Apple’s long-term lease and prime location show its strong commitment to India’s premium retail market. The company sees large potential in Noida’s rising purchasing power, expanding urban clusters, and young consumer base.
With this opening, Apple pushes its India retail strategy forward and strengthens its hold in one of the world’s fastest-growing tech markets.
