My uncle stays in a flat that is on a Pagdi basis for more than 60 years. Now the landlord is trying to evict them based on the reason given in court that he is short of space. Even though there is one more empty flat in the building belonging to his cousin which is also Pagdi base. Can the court evict my uncle? What are his rights? Will he get any compensation?
