My mother is alive and has recently changed her name from Vichitra to Bichitra. She is living with my father in her own home constructed on the plot which is in my mother’s name. She has got the new Adhar and PAN as well on the new name. The plot on which house is constructed was registered in 1991 and that time there was no Adhar or PAN in culture. As a son, what documents I should have so that this house can be sold without any hurdle in the future?

I bought a commercial property when the project was in the early phase. And now when the project is ready, I have got possession of the property. However, the Municipality officials come on with a different office number than the registered office number. Do I need to do the whole registration again and Pay the full stamp duty as per current rates?

We are a family of 5 with parents two brothers and a daughter (myself). My mother expired and my father is bedridden. My elder brother left the house 7 years from now and the younger brother is claiming the full property. My father is in fear since my younger brother is not willing to give me a share. My younger brother is already dealing in a process where he already went into a contract with another person to build and sell the land and flats without my permission and without any share provided to me from that. And I got to know that 75 per cent of the building has been built under this contract. I would like to know the detailed procedure (like whether I should approach the police or find a lawyer to file a case etc ) to solve the above issues and get my part of the property share.
