I AM GOING TO PURCHASE A PLOT OF LAND WITH A BUILT RCC HOUSE ON THAT PLOT. THE SELLER HAS PURCHASED THE PLOT 3 YEARS AGO WITH A REGISTERED SALE DEED AND THE MUTATION AND PARTITION OF LAND ARE ALREADY DONE. BUT THE FIRST SELLER HAS FILED A TITLE SUIT AGAINST THE SECOND SELLER CLAIMING NON-RECEIPT OF FULL PAYMENT AS PER THE SALE DEED. IN THAT CASE, CAN I TAKE POSSESSION OR REGISTER THE PROPERTY IN MY NAME?

My grandmother sold one site (Grandma’s self-owned site) to one of her own daughters (my father’s sisters) when she was around the age of 65 without the consent of my father. Here she has not gifted the site to her daughter instead she has sold it (not sure the reason behind why she sold it, my father’s sister told my grandma had borrowed some amount from them so she sold it back to them). Here my question would be, does my father’s signature/approval would have been required to sell this property, as my grandmother is more than 60 years? My grandmother got expired a few years back and we got to know the site has been sold to my father’s sister itself now. Now does my father have rights to get shared on this site?

I am a tenant at a commercial building for more than 60 years and now there is a 3rd landlord of the said building who is bothering me and my goods are being destroyed. We filed a case against him then he stopped. Now I did some furniture work at my shop and there’s a house on top of our shop, which he is going to renovate and he says that the water will come into my place during the rain. If this happens, all my goods would be wasted, do I have any option?

Hello, I need to know the Indian law for property matter. My father bought a house 12 years back and registered it in my sister’s name. I was not happy about it as I was their only son and told my parents that the property should be registered in both our names but my parents kept insisting that they registered in my sister’s name as registration was cheaper if registered under my sister’s name so I did not contest their wish. Now my father and my mother have both passed away and my sister claims that the property belongs to her only and she will give it to her three children. I also have two children but she doesn’t care to share it. I want to know if I still have the rights to this property and if she can sell or transfer it to her children without my consent.

A family (say Family A) lives with my family (say Family M) on my ancestral property. The property in question was self-acquired by my grandfather and willed to my father when he died in the 1970s. Therefore Family A does not have any ownership right on this property. They were given the right to reside till the son from Family A was old and began to earn. Family A has been living on the property for over 40yrs. However, they do not have exclusive access to the property, which has always been occupied by Family M. Family A does not pay any rent or taxes or undertake any maintenance of the said property. There are lots of domestic disputes between the members of Family A. Now Family M wants to sell the property and wants Family A to vacate it. Does Family A, have any right over the property in question?
