We purchased land in 1987 together with Patta. But last year we have seen online, they mentioned different names in Patta. After that, we compiled all the documents and applied them to the nearest RDO office. For more than a year they are delaying the process and have not yet changed the name. Can you please advise if there is any other way to get it done? We got 3 reports from VAO, THASILDAHR & SURVEYOR. They mentioned that the property belong to them only since 1987. But RDO team is delaying

To change the name on a Patta in Tamil Nadu, you can visit the nearest Taluka or Village Administrative Officer (VAO) office and get the form for the transfer of Patta. Fill out the form carefully without any corrections
