We have given our property with an existing bungalow to a developer through registered development agreement and GPA 14 years ago there is no time limit mentioned except 18 months from sanction of commercial building. But he neither got the permission not shown any interest in completing the project. I am fed up with his attitude now after 14 years we want to sell the property as he’s a defaulter. Can we cancel his development agreement cum power of attorney as 2 of 4 principals have died10 years ago after the agreement. The builder is threatening us that the land belongs to him and we landlords have no right on it. He had demolished the 4 storied building in which we were living. He promised to pay us rent there is a clause in the agreement till the construction is complete but he did not pay us rent all these years. On what basis can we cancel his development agreement cum power of attorney please advice?

We have recently shifted to our house in Andheri which have been on rent before shifting. Our Aadhar have old address of Borivali and the house in Andheri has got the name of builder on Electricity bill. The Mahanagar gas bill is on my name, The society maintenance bill also bears our name, sale agreement (2006) is on our name . Will these docs acceptable while applying for change in name on Adani Electricity bill? Pls guide.
