When it comes to Navi Mumbai, it is quite a huge area and there are many localities which can give you higher returns. You should consider areas like Kamothe, Airoli, Taloja as these areas are well connected to the rest of the city. Here, you can expect the rent for 1 BHK flat around 15-17K.
So, if you ask me, I would say buying a 1 BHK flat in Navi Mumbai would be a better deal.
