The Upper Ganga Canal (UGC) is an important source of water supply to Delhi and major sectors in Noida. It is about 291 km long and it is located between the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. It is also one of the largest irrigation systems in India. This canal carries 13,000 cusecs (cubic foot per second) of water and provides it to various parts including Delhi, Noida, parts of Uttarakhand and UP as well.
We cannot exactly tell you which societies in Noida receive Ganga water, but here is a list of the sectors in Noida that receive water from Ganga. These include Sector 11, 12, 19, 20, 21, 34, 51, 52, 53, 91, 92, 93 A, 93 B, 105, 108, 136,137, 141 and 142 as per my knowledge.

The city will receive an additional 90 MLD (million litres per day) of Gangajal by this year. Six lakh individuals, most of whom reside in brand-new neighbourhoods off the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. They will gain from this increased supply. According to authorities, the project is almost 80% finished. As a result, the total supply in the city would rise to 330 MLD. The city's current Gangajal supply is 240 MLD, although its demand is at around 360 MLD. Several industries stand to gain from the increased supply. The sectors that will benefit from this supply are 122, 128, 130, 131, 133, 134, 135, 137, 143, 144, 145, 143B, 146, 147, and 151, 168. 45 percent of the work needed to build a water treatment plant with a 120 MLD capacity has been finished. But only the main water treatment work is required. The NHAI has finished 88 percent of the work needed to lay a 12.70 km long pipeline.
