In your case since you have a joint registration of property and have a purchase agreement in your and your wife’s name, you will have two options.
If you want to remove name from from purchase agreement amicably then you can ask your spouse to either make a relinquishment deed or gift deed in your name. If it doesn’t go down like that, then there is another option which will involve court.
Many people ask how to remove co applicant name from property, as per my knowledge, you will have to file a lawsuit in the court of law and prove that you have made all the payments for the purchase of the property. Hence, the decision can be made in your favour after the verification of your claims.
