Documents required for changing name on electricity bill in Haryana:
A new A & A form which is executed
If the owner of the property is dead and you need to change the name on the electricity bill you have to submit the death certificate and succession certificate. You can submit the probated will instead of the death certificate.
If you are the tenant you need to show proof of tenancy or lease deed.
If the owner of the property is changed then NOC from the previous owner is required.
Test report in case of revision of load.
You can pay the fee required along with submitting these to the nearby electricity office. The sub-divisional officer and the executive engineer will take all the necessary steps to change the name on the electricity bill and you will see the changes in 7 days.
I have not come across any procedure related to how to change electricity meter name online in Haryana so I think we need to opt for the offline process as of now.
