Hey pal,
I believe agricultural as well as residential land can be gifted to another person via a gift deed. You will have to get the specific deed contract made before transfering the ownership of self acquired property. Daughters and sons alike can be given a gift deed. The laws mentioned in the Hindu Succession Act, 1956, apply to agricultural land as well.
