Mason Jar Snow Globes

We all have mason jars around the house and you can now turn them into a snow globe with ease! Was out the jar and let it dry, then use salt or mix of glitter and salt to create the snow. If you’re using a large jar, then thermocol balls could also be used. Place a small sized Christmas tree or snow man etc. in the jar and fill it with your ‘snow’ now, your snow globe is ready.

Ice-Cream Stick Snow Flakes

You can buy ice-cream sticks at most local craft stores, or you can buy ice candy and have some fun while trying to get ice-cream sticks! Use cleaned stick and excellent quality glue to stick them together to form any shapes that look like snowflakes. Once the glue has dried, you can either paint your snowflakes, wrap them in ribbons, cover them in glitter paints or combine all three options. Once done, you can use them as tree decorations or stick them to the walls with Blu-Tack. If they are large enough, you can even hang them on doors, on the staircase etc.

Spoon Christmas Tree

For this one, all you’ll need is a cone-shaped object to use as a base and some plastic spoons of the same size. You can make the cone shape from slightly stiff cardboard or thermocol. Once the cone is ready you can start prepping the spoons. You’ll have to cut off the handle of the spoons at its neck, once done either hand paint or spray paint them in a colour or your choice like green, gold, red etc. Once the paint has dried start sticking the back of the spoons on your cone from the bottom to the top, in different layers. Once done, you can top it with a star or leave it as is.
